We began work on the Kent State University Main Campus-Administrative Services Building Roof Replacement in March and completed in May 2020.
The 10,000 square foot project consisted of removing the existing EPDM roof system and installing a new Garland 2-ply Modified Bitumen roofing system. In addition to the Garland 2-ply roof membrane, flat insulation, tapered insulation, and cover board were included in the new roof system as well as Garland R-Mer force metal edge at the perimeter of the roof.
Because much of the work took place above Kent State’s fashion museum storage area, extensive interior protection was installed prior to commencement to ensure that valuable fashion items below the roof were secured and covered during the tear-off.
